About and standards
Who publishes this site, what it covers and how it works.
28creation is a small publication from Sweden about the software people work in.
What we cover
This site is about the software people work in. That means the tools companies run on and how to choose them, the automation that takes repeated work off people, AI as it shows up in ordinary jobs, the developer tools behind all of it, and the startups that build them.
Pieces come in a few formats. Analysis argues a point. Guides walk through a task step by step. News covers changes readers may need to act on. Notes are short comments on something worth reading elsewhere, with a link to it.
Editorial standards
- Sources are linked. When we state a fact, we link to where it comes from, and we prefer the primary source: the documentation, the filing or the original announcement.
- Dates are shown. Every piece shows when it was published. If it changes later, it also shows when it was updated.
- Corrections go at the top. When we get something wrong, we fix it and add a note at the top of the piece saying what changed, with the date of the correction.
Advertising
Advertising on this site is always labelled. An ad says “Sponsored by” and the advertiser’s name; it sits at the end of the front-page feed and at the bottom of articles, after the text. A promoted article says “Promoted by” and the advertiser’s name at the top, wherever it appears on the site, and its links are marked as sponsored for search engines. Every other article is editorial: no one pays for it, and it promotes no one.
